Ninja experience in Togakushi
by Harry
Hello. I'm Harry from United States and live in Nagano.

Are you ready to embark on a journey through time and immerse yourself in the world of ancient Japanese ninjas? Join us as we relive our thrilling adventure in the quaint village of Togakushi, Nagano, where three intrepid travelers donned ninja costumes, devoured ninja-themed delicacies, conquered obstacle courses, mastered the art of shuriken throwing, and navigated a maze filled with secret passageways and hidden doors. Trust us; it was an unforgettable experience filled with surprises, laughter, and, for one of us, an unexpected plunge into the water!

Ninjamura, located in the beautiful Togakushi region of Nagano, is a delightful theme park that transports visitors to the heart of Japan's secretive ninja culture. We couldn't resist the opportunity to step into the shoes of these mysterious warriors and discover the secrets hidden within this village.

Our adventure began as soon as we arrived in Ninjamura. Eager to blend in with the locals, we donned authentic ninja costumes. With our new identities established, we set out to explore the village, evoking the spirit of the ancient ninja.

One of the highlights of our trip was the opportunity to indulge in ninja-themed cuisine. We dined at a local restaurant that specializes in creating dishes inspired by the world of the ninja.

The adrenaline rush continued as we tackled the ninja obstacle courses. These challenges put our physical and mental skills to the test. With climbing walls, rope bridges, and a variety of other ninja-themed obstacles, we felt like real ninjas as we navigated the course. Unfortunately, I managed to fall into the water during one the trials. It might not have been part of the plan, but it turned out to be one of the funniest moments of the trip!

No visit to Ninjamura would be complete without testing our shuriken throwing skills. Under the guidance of a skilled instructor, we learned the art of shuriken throwing and aimed for targets with precision. While only one of us was able to hit the board even once, we had an absolute blast trying.

The centerpiece of our adventure was the ninja-themed maze. This labyrinth was designed with hidden passageways and concealed doors, making it a true test of our ninja abilities. Armed with a map that felt like something out of a historical novel, we embarked on a mission to uncover the secrets within. It wasn't long before we found ourselves in tight spots, searching for hidden levers and doors that led us deeper into the maze's enigmatic core.

If you're seeking a unique and action-packed adventure that combines history, culture, and a good dose of fun, Ninjamura is the place to be. It's a place where you can unleash your inner ninja, create unforgettable memories, and, in my case, have an unexpected splash of excitement. It's safe to say that our trip to Ninjamura will remain etched in our memories as a one-of-a-kind experience, and we can't wait to return for more ninja-themed escapades in the future!
